Throughout his life, Cory Parsons has always had a keen sense of adventure, and a love for food and exotic cuisines. A diving accident at the age of 23 left him a quadriplegic but did little to stop him from achieving his dreams. Cory is now a sports advocate and motivational speaker. At the age of 23, Cory suffered a diving injury that le him quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chest down and impairment to both his arms and his hands. Since the accident his life has changed drascally. He returned to university and studied psychology, recreaonal therapy, and earned a diploma in crisis counselling, but his love of the culinary arts could not be diminished. Cory now works as a consultant for accessibility and personal relaons for persons with disabilies for both businesses in his community and the Vancouver Island University. Cory lives in Nanaimo, BC.
